Shenzhen College of International Education is a highly selective UK curriculum college, which aims to take the brightest Chinese students and, through IGCSE and A level teaching, to prepare them for entry into top English language universities around the world. We have a very large staff of teachers from UK, China and countries around the world including USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka, providing an excellent student to teacher ratio.

A few statistics:
- In the current A1 year (equivalent to UK Year 12), 162 out of 192 students are studying A level Mathematics in one year
- In the current A2 year (equivalent to UK Year 13), 75 out 133 students are studying A level Further Mathematics
- In 2007, 83% of students gained an A or B grade in A level Mathematics
- In 2007, 33 students were interviewed for places at Oxford and Cambridge Universities
- Among the graduates from 2005, 2006 and 2007, six were offered places and went on to study at Oxford and Cambridge
Den Nan, the first secretary of the Secretariat of CAST and daughter of the former Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping,
accompanied by Shenzhen municipal leaders, inspected the school on 4th April 2007. During her visit she
went around the school, chatted with students and staff. Her visit is regarded as a stamp of approval by the authorities
for the truly stunning achievements of SCIE.
