A1 and G1/G2 parents meetings were held on October 31 and November 6 respectively after the mid-semester reports were published. This is a regular event at SCIE after a major session of exams to inform parents how their children are doing academically.
　　期中报告发下后，我校A1及G年级家长会分别在10月31日及11月6日举行。
我校考试后通常会召开家长会，通知家长学生的学业表现。

　　After a short period of receiving presentations in the school auditorium, parents, most of whom had their children with them, had the opportunity to see all relevant subject teachers individually to discuss points of interest, at three different locations on the ground floor, i.e. the Badminton Hall, Rooms 109 and 110.
　　在礼堂的一小段报告结束后，家长在自己孩子的陪同下可以单独会见相关任课教师。教师在一楼的羽毛球馆，109和110室一一解答了家长的提问。

　　Parents turned out in force to attend both these parents meetings as they were keen to learn how their children had done for the first half of this semester.
　　家长们都积极地参加了这两次家长会，因为他们都很关心自己孩子在上半学期的表现如何。
