A number of teachers from three departments went to Shanghai or Beijing to take part in professional training organised by Cambridge International Examinations.
　　我校从三个学科组派出了几位教师参加了由剑桥考试中心组织的教师培训。

　　Allen Liu, Chloe Tan and Dean Wu of the Commerce Department, and Doris Zhang and Cecily Chen of the English Department, went to Shanghai to attend a two-day training course on October 24th and 25th. All the lectures and trainers were experienced CIE examiners and/or teachers in their respective subjects, and they presented eye-opening techniques and information both on marking and teaching. All the attendees felt the experience was of high value and very worthwhile.
　　经济组的刘晓红，谭分，吴镝老师；英语组的张小琴，陈亚丽老师于10月24、25号参加了在上海举办的为期两天的培训。所有的讲师都是CIE考官或相关学科教师，他们向大家展示了在评分及教学方面很令人启发的技巧及信息。所有参加的老师都认为此次培训受益匪浅，并给予了较高的评价。

　　A couple of days earlier on October 22nd and 23rd Jack Liu and Betty Kong from the Physics Department went to a similar training course in Beijing, where they were shown effective ways of delivering IGCSE Physics lessons. Jack and Betty also thought the seminar was a resounding success.
　　10月22，23日，我校物理组教师刘德莹、孔妍也到北京参加了一个类似的培训，在那里他们学习了怎样有校地教授IGCSE物理课程。刘老师和孔老师也认为从中学到了很多东西。

　　According to school management, SCIE is committed to regular and long-term staff professional training and is prepared to put in sizeable resources towards such efforts.
　　根据校领导介绍，我校致力于员工的职业培训，并准备在这方面投入大量资源。
