After prolonged delays and testing phases, the SCIE Home/School Internet Communication Platform was finally released for use to the parent community in late December.
　　经过了长时间的延误和测试期后，SCIE家校平台终于在十二月末向家长公布使用了。

　　This platform is designed to provide a convenient channel of communication between parents and staff on any school matters in both directions. Specifically, parents will be able to check their children’s attendance records, major examination results, and other records of significance like extracurricular programme participation, important awards/punishments, etc. Parents and teachers can also leave messages for one another on matters of concern.
　　家校双方可利用此平台与另外一方就学校的任何事宜进行交流与沟通。具体功能包括：家长可查到学生的出勤记录，重要考试的成绩，及一些其它重要记录如学生参与的课外活动和奖励与惩罚等。家长与老师间也可互相留言。

　　It is hoped that this platform will encourage more interaction and cooperation between home and school, and as a result parents may play a bigger role in the education of their children at SCIE.
　　我们希望这个平台能促进家长与学校间的合作与交流，使家长能在对孩子的教育中起到更重要的作用。
